ABOUT

The Cheat Sheet

Over the past seven months, we have worked with employers—from Fortune 100 HR teams to start-up founders—and people building their careers to tackle the problem of the resume. And what a problem it is! Especially for anyone in the early stage of their career (and the people wanting to hire them).

However, replacing the resume isn’t the answer—at least not yet;). Instead, we need a tool that reimagines the professional profile for a new generation of work.

Introducing The Cheat Sheet—a shareable, visually-driven, data-rich professional snapshot that tells the world what you can do, not just what you have done. This secret weapon will help everyone put their best professional foot forward.

How?

  1. Building Network: You’re at a casual event and meet somebody you want to add to your network. However, sharing your LinkedIn feels a bit thirsty, and your Instagram is way too personal. Enter The Cheat Sheet!

  2. Cold Outreach: You’re emailing to set up an informational interview and can’t figure out how to fit all of your awesomeness into a few paragraphs. No sweat. Say a few words and let The Cheat Sheet do the rest!

  3. Job Application: You’re applying for a job, and your resume alone doesn’t make the most compelling case for why they should hire YOU. Easy! Include The Cheat Sheet, aka your resume’s new best friend!

The Company

Irregular Hours is a company dedicated to transforming the professional lives of Gen Zs and revolutionizing work culture. By building better learning and earning tools, the next generation can streamline and optimize their career-crafting journey on their terms—moving from summer internship to CEO. Welcome to the place where possibility becomes reality for the next generation of work.

The People

Irregular Hours’ products are built by serious people who take people starting their careers very seriously. Serious people who have spent the past ten years employing, mentoring, and teaching young humans. Serious people who started their careers twenty-five years ago and serious people who are just getting started. Serious people with PhDs, MFAs, and Ed.Ms—scientists, writers, artists, designers, educators, and entrepreneurs. Serious people who don’t like when something is broken, and nobody fixes it. And above all else, serious people who really don’t like being flattened, limited, and abridged by systems that assume a one-size-fits-all model. Serious people who believe complexity, nuance, and fluidity are things to embrace, not erase. Serious people like you.

The Promise

  1. We will never treat you like a data point.

  2. We will always put your needs before the company’s.

  3. We will always be transparent and honest. Even when it hurts.

  4. We will build things that make you and the future of work better.

  5. We will never flatten you or ask you to be anything other than exactly who you are.
